Abstract: This is a winter story about a boy whose uncle tries in vain to kill him by means of various monsters.
Description: The original manuscript of this story is in the Truman Michelson Collection of the Smithsonian Institution's National Anthropological Archives. It was written by Charley H. Chuck sometime between 1911 and 1938. The version given here was transcribed, phonemicized, otherwise edited, and translated by Ives Goddard.
